What is meroflight.com?

www.meroflight.com is the secured online flight booking portal powered by Lucky Travel and Tours Pvt. Ltd. (Est. 2003 A.D) from where you can purchase international air tickets online through E-sewa, Visa, Master, American Express, Debit or Credit card.

How do I book a flight online?

To book a flight online, you need to enter the required information, then, click the Search Flight button. After you have paid your flight filling all the required document information, meroflight.com will send you a booking confirmation mail in your registered email id.

How can I register?

You can simply register by just providing your email id by clicking on Register button.

Do I need to register to purchase flights?

You can purchase flights without registering as a guest user; however you can register yourself by checking box of Auto Register as Member while booking your flight.

What is the benefit of registering?

What, if I don’t get confirmation email while purchasing flights?

Generally, system will automatically send you confirmation mail with copy of e-ticket. However, if you don’t get confirmation mail, please check junk or spam, still if unable to get , please call our help line before you proceed to book again because flight might have been booked, so to prevent double payment, you should contact us immediately at +977 9801095029/9801095031/9801095035

Can I just hold my flight to pay later?

Generally, you can’t hold your flight online but if you wish to hold, you can contact our team which allows certain time limit to issue final ticket by paying offline.

How many passengers can be book at once? And what, if I have a group booking?

You can only book 9 passenger in one booking at one time, for group booking ,you can get special group fare for which you have to mail us to info@meroflight.com or call us at +977 9801095029/9801095031/9801095035

What if I miss my flight?

Contact us at +977 9801095029/9801095031/9801095035 or consult the airline staff.

How do I cancel my flight reservation?

If your ticket status is Ticket(s) Issued, you cannot cancel your order, please contact us directly for assistance.

What documents do I need to present at the airport ticketing counter to get my boarding pass?

International flights:

Confirmed e-ticket copy, original passport, visa, hotel booking copy, dollar stamp in passport of minimum 1000 USD (only for Nepalese citizens) and other supporting documents.

Domestic flights within Nepal

Nepalese Nationality: Confirmed e-ticket and Government issued valid citizenship or PAN card or passport.

Foreign Nationality: Confirmed e-ticket and valid Passport only

Can I modify my ticket?

Tickets cannot be modified online once they have been issued. Please contact meroflight.com by calling +977 9801095031/9801095035 to change your ticket date.

Can I change or correct name in already purchased ticket?

Generally, airlines don’t allow name change, some airlines may allow name change with certain charges, please call or mail us for the assistance.

Can I get a refund if I cancel my ticket?

Refund depends upon the policy of airlines whether the ticket you purchase is refundable or not. Customer needs to read Fare Rule ‘R’ symbol carefully before purchasing ticket.

In which condition can I get full refund?

Full refund is only permitted in case of flight cancellation by airlines or flight delayed more than 12 hours, generally full refund takes 14 working days to refund in your account.

What if I submit my booking more than once?

If tickets for the same passenger have been issued due to repeat or overlapping bookings (including booking flights that depart on the same day), you will be responsible for any cancellation fees.

What is the ticket endorsement rule?o

Generally endorsement is allowed by airlines only in the case of flight cancellations or delay more than 10 hrs. Airlines involved must also agree to this transfer.

How do I know my reservation has been confirmed?

We will send you a confirmation email once your reservation has been submitted and received. If you don’t receive mail, please call us directly @ +977 9801095031/9801095035 or mail us to info@meroflight.com

Which credit cards do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

How can we pay via E-sewa?

While purchasing ticket there is a selection of payment option, once you choose E-sewa ,it will redirect to E-sewa log in page and you have to fill your log in credentials to make final payment.

How to book child or infant tickets online?

Children are categorized as 2-12 years old, and infants as under 2 years old. For each child or infant added to a booking, an adult (usually classed as 18 or over) must also be added. Please note that our system does not currently provide the option to add both children and infants to a single booking. If you are traveling with both infants and children, please make separate bookings with one adult passenger per child/infant. Some airlines do not allow the online booking of child or infant tickets. If this is the case, you may have to contact the airline directly to make a booking.

How far in advance can I book a flight?

You can book domestic flights 180 days in advance and international flights 300 days in advance. Tickets must be paid for to lock in the price quoted. Prices quoted for flights departing a month or more in the future are estimations based on previous trends in ticket pricing and, if not booked and paid for, must be confirmed closer to the departure date. Airline Company scheduling is prone to change without much notice and discounted fares will also change accordingly. While meroflight.com strives to provide the best discounts to its customers and update online ticket prices as quickly as possible, advertised discount prices are subject to change occasionally.

What is the free baggage allowance on flights?

Generally, for domestic flights, 10 kg per adult/child tickets is allowed in economy class. Please refer to the airline policies and regulations for free baggage allowance for infant tickets. For international flights, rules regarding free baggage allowance vary by airline. Please refer to individual airline policies and regulations by clicking on Fare Rule.

Are there rules regarding liquid carry-on items on flights?

In general, liquid carry-on items are prohibited. Small amounts of liquid for personal use are allowed as follows: capacity of each item must not exceed 100 ml (3.4 oz); all items must be placed within a re-sealable transparent plastic bag of a maximum capacity not exceeding 1 L (33.8 oz); all items are subject to security checks. Passengers with infants may request directly from airlines at the time of ticket purchase that free liquid milk products be served on their flights. For details, please refer to the chosen airline policies and regulations.

What carry-on baggage rules apply to flights?

For domestic flights, in general carry-on baggage totaling 5 kg (11 lb) or less in weight per item per passenger may be brought on board free of charge. Each piece shall not exceed 20 x 40 x 55 cm in size. Any carry-on items in excess of the above mentioned allowed number of pieces, size or weight shall be transported as checked baggage. For international flights, please refer to the chosen airline policies and regulations.

How can I request for seat selection, extra baggage allowance or other services?

If you wish to select seat in advance, process online check-in, purchase extra baggage allowance or have any other request, please feel free to contact meroflight.com. Fees might be applied as per airlines rules.

What is the favorable time to book flight?

Since, airline seats are subject to availability and fare is often higher in last minute booking, we advise you to purchase your ticket in advance as soon as earlier.
